Hammersmith was involved early in the project and lent their support to test a range of different finishes by installing samples onsite, which aided the selection process. There was a problem with an imported tile we had chosen being larger than specified. Hammersmith took up the issue with the supplier, who ultimately remade the tile.

They always focus on what they can do to make the project a success and build rewarding relationships—working together to understand the project requirements and how to put it together. The end result was an excellent product and a happy client.

259 Queen Street refurbishment

Levels 12, 13 & 14, 259 Queen Street, Brisbane

With office vacancy rates in the Brisbane CBD creeping up, Investa sought to refurbish several recently vacated levels of their property at 259 Queen Street—to distinguish this A-grade office space in an increasingly competitive marketplace. The project involved full refurbishment of three 1600m2 floors, including all amenities.

Hammersmith worked closely with the project manager and architect in trialling a range of different flooring and ceiling materials onsite. Numerous bespoke fittings and custom solutions were developed in collaboration with the architect and engineer. Multiple specialist trades and suppliers, long lead times, complex logistics and strict building management guidelines were all carefully managed to deliver a successful project for all stakeholders.
